We must stand together in a time such as these. When a child is murdered because he asked another to be his valentine and then is slaughtered because he is gay there is something terribly wrong in this society. As a concerned person I would hope that in a country where we are supposed to be FREe that this kind of hate would not occur. But yet when sensless acts of violence happens we have to ask ourselves what is society in this country telling our children? What would you have done if it were your child who was murdered or if it were your child charged with any hate crime. Hate destroys and hate is a cancer that needs to be eliminated. Only with change from society can we start to heal and grow. I feel for the families of both of these children. May God be with them both. I pray for both families and I pray that this country will rally together and truly start treating everyone equal and fair. NO MORE HATE IN THE USA.
